MAG | LAUNCH TRAILER

My earliest introduction to the Sony PlayStation ecosystem was directing the trailer for the game MAG. “Massive Action Game,” as it was aptly and perhaps unforgivably titled, required a complex, multi-camera in-game production that employed a multi-player sky motif to house the game capture editorial. It remains one of the few projects I’ve conceptualized centered on war and combat, and I include it here because of the unique challenge of world-building such a deep, expansive, and intentionally grimy world. For me, the success was in the atmosphere—taking the technical constraints of game capture and turning them into a singular, immersive, sound design-driven experience. In space, everyone can hear your screen.
